Hours: 39 hours per week

Location: Support Centre, Taunton (with travel across organisation)

We are looking for a Training Facilitator to join the Somerset Care L&D team based in Taunton. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager you will actively support the development of our teams, with particular emphasis on equipping colleagues with the expertise to deliver high quality person centred care.

An experienced carer looking to move into a more development focused role would suit this role perfectly!

As part of your role, your duties will include:

  • Welcoming new starters to the business.
  • Responsible for facilitating mandatory training sessions.
  • Curate, develop and deliver innovative learning content and initiatives that will meet group wide  training needs and provide development opportunities for all colleagues
  • Evaluate training and learning outcomes, making quality recommendations to the L&D team that will lead to improvements or variations and  meet ever changing requirements.
  • Motivate and inspire Somerset Care colleagues by passionately role modelling the company values and behaviours

In order to be considered for the role, you will need to:.

  • Have practical experience in training and development initiatives, including designing, implementing and evaluating a variety of training solutions.
  • Be passionate about supporting within the Healthcare Sector.
  • Be able to engage, listen and communicate in a variety of ways.
  • Be aligned to our values of connecting with people, making a difference, doing the right thing, and embracing change.
