Job Title: Health and Safety Programme Coordinator

Hours: Full Time 37 hours

Salary: £25,000.00 per annum

Location: Taunton, travel to other sites in Somerset, Devon and Wiltshire will be required

The Role

  • As a valued member of our team, Health and Safety Programme co-ordinators will have experience of co-ordinating multiple projects at the same time.
  • Health and Safety Programme Co-ordinators do more than a job. They will understand health and safety within the workplace (and preferably within a care environment) to ensure our residents are safe.
  • You are encouraged to embrace positive health and safety culture within the services you are working with.
  • By joining us as a Health and Safety Programme Co-ordinator you will have the ability to write and deliver reports on projects.
  • Our Health and Safety Programme Co-ordinator will have attention to detail and enthusiasm and ability to deliver instruction and training, where required.

 

Our ideal candidate will have

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of people
  • Experience of co-ordinating multiple projects at the same time.
  • Accurate recording of project progress
  • Ability to write and deliver reports on projects (e.g. to H&S Sub Committee)
  • Using Microsoft applications, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and Planner to coordinate projects and allocate tasks.
  • Attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and ability to deliver instruction and training (for example to support the project outcom Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points
  • Health & Safety qualification (desirable)
  • Project management qualification (desirable) ? Training / train the Trainer qualification (desirable) es)
