Customer Service Advisor – 12-Month Maternity Cover (Part-Time or Full-Time Considered)
Location: Acacia House, Blackbrook Park Avenue, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 2PX
Salary: £24,782 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 2 x 20-hour roles available
Contract Type: 12-month fixed term (maternity cover)
Working Pattern: Flexible weekday availability required

We are currently seeking Customer Service Advisors to join our friendly and supportive Customer Service Centre. This team plays a key role in guiding customers and their families through what can often be a confusing and emotional time — finding the right care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for customers and potential clients

  • Provide outstanding customer service with empathy and professionalism

  • Respond to and process enquiries quickly and effectively

  • Accurately record all information using internal systems

  • Work flexibly to support the team during peak periods, covering leave or sickness where needed

Hours of Work:

  • Two full days per week (8:30am – 5:00pm)

  • One half day per week, alternating fortnightly: 8:30am – 1:30pm / 12:00pm – 5:00pm

  • We are happy to consider full-time applicants too

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous customer service experience (essential)

  • A friendly, confident communicator who is comfortable supporting customers over the phone

  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive attitude
