About us

Realise is Somerset Care Group’s specialist learning disabilities service who have been recognised for the work we do, including Silver winners in the Outstanding Care Awards, and finalists in the Laing Buisson awards. Your role: 

As part of your role, you will be responsible to the management of a set Geographical area (Devon) and the line management of the staff within this area, supporting mentoring carrying out appraisals supervision and observations and training and development. This role also involves overseeing the customers we have, and carrying out customer assessments reviews, and generating new business. There will be the requirement for linking in with other professionals i.e GPs DN Social workers etc.

In order to be considered for the role, you will need to:.

  • Have your level 3 QCF in health and social care, or equivalent manager qualification, together with experience or managing/leading staff. 
  • Be passionate, possess good communication, and organisational skills.
  • Be able to work flexibly across varying shifts, including weekends.
  • Be able to engage, listen and communicate in a variety of ways.
